Community-Level Employment Lands Reports Released

The purpose of the Employment Lands research project was to better understand land supply, demand usage and constraints on the region's wealth generating lands. A resulting reporting series presents findings at the community level for each of the 28 municipalities in the region.  Learn more.

RDI Concludes State of the Environment Project

The RDI sought to improve the quality and accessibility of environmental research in the region and build the capacity of stakeholders to make use of this research. As a result, one of the most comprehensive and interactive web-mapping applications ever attempted in Western Canada, the Digital Basin was created. Learn more.

RDI Team 'Mobilizes Knowledge'

Over the last 4 months the RDI team provided training and presentations to over 200 stakeholders.  The team also released a series of videos encouraging residents to explore what the data is telling us about the vitality of our region.  Learn more.

Analysis of Integrated Community Sustainability Plans Released

The RDI is pleased to release a new report on integrated community sustainability planning in the Basin-Boundary region. The report provides a background on the planning approach and analyzes the process and content associated with plans developed by ten Basin-Boundary communities.         Learn more.

Project Featured by National Research Council

Selkirk College in partnership with College of the Rockies and Okanagan College successfully supported companies in digital technology adoption. This project has been featured as a technology adoption case study by the National Research Council.   Learn more.
